Freda's Week Includes Some Fabulous Events! Be there!

Freda's Events May 26-30

It's been a busy, busy few days inworlds and out, so this week's event postings and newsletter are a tad later than I like them to be.  Better late than never!

Belles and Caledonia Skytower performed May 20 at Senchai Library.
Donna Reed we are not.
Wednesday, May 26 at 6 AM PST, the Book Belles will be back at Seanchai Library in SL with honorary belle and great story teller, Caledonia Skytower.  We'll be performing more of the words of funny lady, Erma Bombeck.  This time it will be selections from her Housewife's Lament.  From soap operas to bizarre accidents and money woes to memory loss, the Book Belles and our special guest, Caledonia Skytower, will have you cracking up at the crack of dawn.

Trolley reads TKAM in Second Life.

Later Wednesday (12 noon PST), Trolley Trollop will continue her reading of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mocking Bird.   Don't miss out on one of the world's best loved stories told by one of the metaverse's best storytellers!

The intelliigencia gathered on Mrs. Piozzi's terrace, mid-May.
Thursday at 5:30 PM PST, Hester Piozzi will gather her friends in Rocca Sorrentina to read and discuss the poetry of Christopher Smart.  Smart was a contemporary of Hester's.  Committed in 1757, Smart created his most famous work, Jubilate Agno, while locked in St. Luke's Hospital For Lunatics in London.  Smart's poems have been set to music by such notables as Benjamin Britten.  As always, Mrs. Piozzi will provide the snacks and tea (possibly some brandy) her guests.  The gathering will be held on the terrace of her home facing the Bay of Naples in Second Life.
