Belle Demeure News November and December 2018

Greetings, Everyone!  We are entering that time of year when much of the western and some of the eastern world loses its collective mind.  Why, of why, do we try to cram so much into six short weeks?  Having asked the question, I have to admit I plan to add to the mayhem that the season of winter holidays can become.  In first life and in SL, I like to plan events for this season.  Here's hoping you like attending and that you have managed to keep some time available to do so.

Opening:  The Art of IanLee Patton

Sunday, December 2
1 PM - 2:30 PM SLT
Frostbite-Thane Gallery @ Belle Demeure Ouest

Ian is an inventive and modern graphic artist.  His work reflects his personality (which is a good thing, FTR) and his interests.  This is not his fist show in SL or even his first show hosted by Frostbite Thane.  His work will hang for several weeks, so we hope you'll come back time and again.

Freda Frostbite: Winter Celebration in Song

Multiple dates and Times

Sunday, December 16, 3 PM SLT

Thursday, December 20, 2 PM SLT

Sunday, December 23, 12 Noon SLT

Wednesday, December 26, 6 PM SLT

Recital Hall @ Belle Demeure

You may or may not be aware that Freda used to sing in SL as her alt, Lark Nocturne.  Then, winter 2017-18 happened and Freda (and all the girls) needed to take a break from virtual worlds to focus on her first life.  Now, she's back but streamlining her virtual lives as much is possible.  Lark is retired for the foreseeable future and Freda will sing, but not as frequently as Lark did.

Freda's recital of seasonal songs include some about winter holidays, Chanukah to Epiphany, and some songs about the season of nature's rest and renewal.  Her songs range from traditional and classical carols to spirituals, folk tunes, rock, jazz, and pop.  Some are brand new to Freda's (or Lark's) repertoire; others have been part of her show for years in first and second life.  Come for a show or two and being your friends!
