News From Belle Demeure
Hi all-- Hex and I will be taking a short break from virtual worlds in early February. This means Jez (the other me) will be AWOL as well. Some events will surely occur here during our absence, but I'll be unavailable for inworld emergencies or questions Feb. 2- 9. During our vacation time, Hex and I will be going camping for a few days, fishing some, seeing some arts events in our community, and doing some of the work that must be done to ready our RL home for sale. This time away is the reason this month's Belle Demeure newsletter is a two-parter that overlaps with February.

Anime and fantasy style artwork and illustrations influenced by eastern design concepts and principles. Ian has shown his RL art on prim for over 12 years in second life. He has had galleries and shows at most major art sims and events and has been a virtual curator himself, showing 4 SL artists a month. Just last year he had a RL exhibition at a local gallery which went well and is hoping to display at comicons next. He is currently working on a fantasy board game, created from scratch. Illustrating all board pieces, cards and character art. The real challenge will be making 3D printed models for characters and monsters. 3D design is a new challenge but one which will also be shown in second life in a year or so.
