February On Rêves Fantastiques

My ex-husband and I were friends.  We shared a long history and a brilliant child.  On January 20, he died as the result of a house fire.  I spent a couple weeks in Ohio at the end of his life and, then, planning and holding a celebration of life in his honor.  As a result, February is off to sort of a rough start.  Events won't resume until after the middle of February.  In the meantime, we hope you'll drop by The Babble Box Theater to see the 2008 Broadway procution of RENT on our big screen.  The movie is running there 24/7 so you can watch anytime.  Also, please watch grid notices for information about Destin-Nation, owned ad operated by Destiny Seranade and Dan Sings.  Desti-Nation is the newsest addition to Rêves Fantastiques.  It will open soon as a venue for shopping and fun!

Help Wanted:  The Belles Seek An MC

The Belles Dance Troupe is seeking an MC for upcoming performances. Our MC does not speak in voice at all; he or she uses a prepared script to entertain, instruct and engage our audiences especially during dancer costume and set changes. The MC is alos responsible for opening and closing the stage curtain on cue and, rarely, for changing scenery pieces between numbers. Previously, our MC has not prepared her own script but worked with one created by our artistic director. We are open to the MC prepping his/her own script, subject to editorial input and approval from our artistic director, Freda Frostbite. Thr troupe will provide appropriate costumes for the MC with the MCs input. Our MC must make him/herself available for at least 4 rehearsals prior to performances and for all performances. Please note that we are somewhat flexible about our schedule, so the MC will have some input into scheduling rehearsals he/she will attend. Please also note that all current members of The Belles live in North America and are extremely unlikely to rehearse during the middle of our own night.
