January will be a BIG month at Belle Demeure
Hello everyone! In first life, Hex and I had a quiet Christmas with my daughter and her dad. We didn't even put the tree up til Christmas Eve, which suited me just fine. It'll come down by New Years, which also suits me. Christmas Day, we went out to dinner at a diner about 30 miles from home. It was really pretty impressive, so I suspect we'll be headed there for future holiday dinners. (In case anyone wonders-- yes, we cook. We even cook well. But why bother when someone else can do the clean-up at a restaurant?) In less wonderful news, Hex is temporarily unemployed because of the US government shutdown. For a while at least, that won't affect our inworld expenditures and activities. If it reaches a point where it does, we'll still be around but doing things differently. Now for inworld news!
