Freda's Place

The Belles and Freda and all the citizens of Bellesmere are moving!  That's two empty regions that belong to us!  The next couple weeks' events will be somewhat chaotic as we make this move.  We will be canceling an event or three.  I plan to start the actual move on Monday and have our current land emptied and released by mid-week.  That part is easy going.  It's the rebuild that will take a couple weeks.  Be patient.  We'll be back.   The new regions are part of the greater UUtopia archipelago in Second Life.  UUtopia was my first home in sl and I have been a part of that community since my avatarial birth, almost 12 years ago.  I hope you will join us there!

The Belles Dancers, directed by Jezebel Magic, will present This Is Halloween at The Belles Theater in Bellesmere, Second Life.  The show will feature dances, scenery, and special affects created by Jezebel Magic.  Music will come from a variety of sources, from Bach to the Scissor Sisters.  The Belles are Anya Daligdig, Josiane Auster, Teale JeJune, Freda Frostbite and Jezebel Magic.  Their MC is Mandy Zurivost.  The curtain will rise at 5 PM SLT on October 24.  That show will be followed by a Halloween party with  DJ, Vance Auster.  There will be two more performances:  October 30 at 5 PM and October 31 at 12 noon.

Well, The Belles put another show to bed last night and today the next one has started taking shape.  Rêves Fantastiques continues to grow.  I am in rehearsal for my February Valentines' shows.  Meanwhile, in first life, I am writing a new novel and moving with my family from a four bedroom house by the sometimes stormy sea to a two-bedroom apartment in a major city.  It's a welcome but daunting transition.  I'm allowing myself ten days with no inworld commitments but will be back for regular events, starting January 20.  This morning, I spent some time working up a 2020 plan for Belle Terre Arts Center.  If you have a look at the linked document, you'll see that there is still some room for guest musicians and DJs to join us at Belle Terre.  Of courese, The Belles, are looking for more dancers as well.  If you'd like to be involved in any of these capacities, please contact me, Freda Frostbite.

What's the same as it always was?  Well, for starters, my husband in all worlds, Heximer Thane, is with me in this new venture.  He's building a bit in Kitely, too, and he is often onhand to help me host events and to cheer me on when I perform.  Of course, I'm still a virtual clot...
