Trolley Trollop and I are determined to be Donna Reed.  Caledonia Skytower appeared as a tiny dragon.  She's lucky neither of us cleaned her wings with Pinesol. Wednesday, 6 AM at Seanchai Library, Imagination Island Last week, Erma had us laughing about guppies and diapers in church and parental curses.  This week, Caledonia Skytower will perform with the Book Belles as we take on Drivers' Education, Favoritism, and Summertime Blues.  This is a program guaranteed to make you laugh.  Be there or risk a maternal curse on your virtual soul!

Mrs. Piozzi Requests The Pleasure of Your Company

Image
Mrs. Piozzi's Soirees Thursdays at 5:30 PM PST Rocca Sorrentina, Second Life Hester Lynch Thrale Piozzi is back from Tivoli and getting over her great loss among friends on Rocca Sorrentina in Second Life.  Being born with a stiff upper lip, Hester has decided the best way forward is, well, forward.  In order to re-establish her place in local society, Mrs. Piozzi requests the honor of your company this Thursday night at 5:30 PM PST.  At that time, her selected friends will gather for social conversation (RP).  The topic on Hester's mind is human flight.  Recently (January 1785), two gentlemen - one French, one American -- crossed the English channel in a hot air balloon.  Hester is fascinated with the notion that men and - Dare she imagine it? - women might one day fly about in balloons, traveling from place to place untethered and free!  Please come to discuss this and other topics on our minds in this very modern age, May of 1785.

After All These Years, He Still Takes Me Dancing.

Image
You may not know our story.  Hex and I met almost six years ago in Second Life.  Back then, our avatars danced together a LOT.  One of the places we liked to go was Foxxies.  Now, we've lived together in Florida for four and a half years.  Once in a while, we dance in real life.  The other night, we put on our avatars and went to see if Foxxies is still in business.  Happily, it is.
